“I love you. I like you. I want you. I want you to be mine,” said the well-known DJ as he poured his heart out to the rap diva. He admits to feeling this way for some time, but wanting to be “in a better place” before he popped the question. At the end of the video, after Khaled holds a gigantic diamond ring up for the cameras, the words “Your Move, Nicki” appear on the screen.
The video immediately went viral, although many of the rapper’s fans are speculating that it must be a joke, citing the numerous plugs to MTV and the fact that Khaled was clearly reading as possible evidence of a hoax.
Apparently, Ms. Minaj agrees. Clearly aggravated, she posted a brief video response in which she called the proposal “stupidity” and said she won’t be responding to it. Why? “Because I don’t need it for publicity and people that do that, they need it,” she explains.
